The wait lists are furnished as a service to allow you to reserve a item that is planned for production. The e-commerce tool I use does not allow a zero cost item, but the $1 reservation charge is fully refundable and will be applied to your purchase price if you do purchase the item once it is made available.
Scarves are approximately 11" x 68" and stoles are approximately 24" x 75". Sizes vary due to shrinkage during the finishing process and differences in weaving. The scarves are woven of 30/2 spun silk yarn. The stoles are woven of 20/2 spun silk yarn, which is heavier than the scarf weight. They can be worn as a wrap skirt as well as a shawl or wrap. The silk yarns are custom-dyed by Treenway Silks (http://www.treenwaysilks.com/).
Shipping charges are for USPS Priority Mail flat rate boxes or equivalent international method. If I can ship the item to you more cheaply, I will do so and will refund the excess shipping charge if it is more than $1. Sales tax will be charged to Massachusetts residents as prescribed by law for clothing items. That law currently exempts the first $175 of a clothing item, so there is no sales tax charged for the scarf. The sales tax on the stole in Massachusetts is $10.94.
The Wait List Purchase Completion page is only used when I bill you for the full cost of your item. I bill each batch as it begins weaving. The current status of the batches as of August 15, 2017 is:
